Drug Bust Yields Cocaine, Firearms, and $100K in The Dalles; One Arrested
Police seized about 143 grams of suspected cocaine and pharmaceutical pills. A handgun and tactical rifle were also seized. The rifle was reported as stolen from central Oregon. Officers and Deputies also seized $101,756.00 of suspected drug proceeds from the address.

According to Bloomberg Law, family farm bankruptcies rose 55% in 2024, and filings are climbing fast in 2025. The first quarter alone saw 82 Chapter 12 bankruptcies, nearly double last year’s pace. Iowa leads the nation in filings, not in crop production, but in collapse.
