A 52-year-old Goldendale man was killed during a house fire at 1500 S. Columbus Avenue on Saturday, Oct. 28, according to a press release from the Goldendale Police Department.
The Dalles man was found lying on his bicycle in Hood River in the 1800 block of Wasco Street in Hood River on Oct. 8th at around 2:30 p.m.

A 58-year-old woman recently died after spilling out of a raft in the Upper White Salmon River. She was pinned under water for several minutes before a guide located her on Saturday, July 15. She died despite efforts to revive her and additional care at a nearby hospital.
35-year-old Dan Garrett Watson has been lodged at NORCOR jail in The Dalles on a charge of murder in the death of Amanda Harman who was found in late March at her home after being stabbed multiple times. Amanda was well-liked, respected and loved by family and friends, according to authorities.
A passerby reported the vehicle had no lights on and the vehicle appeared to be unoccupied. When Police arrived a short time later to check on the vehicle, they found a male laying in the middle of the bridge.
The person developed symptoms on Dec. 8, was diagnosed with COVID and admitted to Mid-Columbia Medical Center on Dec. 11, and passed away Dec. 15.
North Central Public Health District reports the 24th death in Wasco county due to COVID-19. A resident of Columbia Basin Care passed away on Jan. 27 at Mid-Columbia Medical Center. The resident tested positive on Jan. 22.
