A collaboration with The Dalles Main Street and The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce helped make the magic happen as they hosted the “TRICK-or-TREAT Downtown The Dalles” event, inviting trick-or-treaters of all ages to enjoy a safe and spooky stroll through the heart of town.

From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., costumed kiddos and their families wandered the pumpkin-marked storefronts of local businesses, each offering sweet treats and smiles. As part of the celebration, a costume contest kept things lively, showcasing everything from miniature ghosts and superheroes to imaginative homemade costumes, making it a memorable event for the young and young-at-heart.

The Chamber generously sponsored the candy for the event, while the TD Lions Club helped ensure safety by assisting with traffic control along the bustling streets. This support helped create a fun, festive environment for families to enjoy Halloween in the heart of The Dalles.

The community came together to ensure that the holiday spirit—and a little spooky fun—could be shared by all. With photo-worthy costumes, local treats, and plenty of Halloween spirit, Downtown The Dalles once again proved to be the perfect place to celebrate a safe and happy Halloween.
