Haven vigil puts light on domestic violence; Magill, Herkshan awarded

Survivors of violence stay for a multitude of reasons, be they financial, religious, fear, and more.  Survivors of violence are more likely to die after they leave the violent relationship and the perpetrator has lost all control/access to them.  We must stop asking "Why didn't they just leave" and instead start asking the real question of "Why perpetrators of Domestic Abuse choose to abuse"? Because Domestic Violence is always a choice that is being made by the perpetrator.  

New High school vote in TD still pushing the poll

As the countdown to Election Day for the North Wasco County School District Bond continues, the community eagerly anticipates the final tally. One thing is unequivocally clear: North Wasco County residents are actively engaged in shaping their future, with voter participation consistently surpassing initial projections.

TDHS Runners peak at District; Both varsity teams going to state

On the back of the pullovers were quotes from the season, from the silly “are we running today?”, to the oft-repeated “chin down, eyes up!”, and encapsulated with one of the seniors’ reasons for improving: “I decided to be fast.” Last Wednesday, Oct. 26, the entire team followed that advice at the Tri-Valley District meet, racing their best season times, and earning multiple spots to the State meet.
