Riverhawk Track finishes strong at district; multiple athletes going to state
Riverhawks ran, jumped and vaulted at districts in Prineville on Friday and Saturday, May 13 & !4, to punch their tickets to the state championship for Track and Field at Eugene’s famed Hayward Field on May 19-21. Never underestimate a Wild Card: TD Track eyeing District after solid showing in Milwaukie
Through the mud and pouring rain in Milwaukie on May 7, the team got to see the view from the podium several times, racing tough while anticipating districts next week. Both men’s and women’s teams placed second. Riverhawks are headed to Prineville for the Intermountain Conference District Meet on Friday, May 13, and Saturday, May 14.
Jerseys to Rwanda: TDHS Girls Soccer impacts Local and Global Communities
TDHS Girls Soccer kicking some philanthropy into gear. Recent goals include donation of jerseys to Rwanda children and preparing for a free soccer camp in The Dalles for this summer. Dunn crushes TDHS record in Triple Jump; Track team kicking at end of season
Last week, however, at The Dalles’ final home meet and at the Dean Nice invitational in Gresham on April 29 - all eyes were on Zoe Dunn’s outstanding triple jump, which smashed her personal record by nearly three feet and obliterated the school record set by Sharon Engle in 1998.
Riverhawk Track: Seasonal Swings from Cold to Hot mirrored in personal records
By far one of the most exciting races of the afternoon was Leo Lemman’s 3000m in Oregon City on Saturday, April 23. Consistent splits, with improved leg speed from racing the 400m and 800m at Hood River got him to the front of the pack, with a scorching time of 9:05, a 13-second personal best. Junior Fiona Dunlop wrested the PR crown on Saturday’s 1500 in Oregon City, coming in at 5:36, a 24-second, all-time personal best.
Riverhawk Track “Shows Up” at Canby, April 15; PRs abound
Work ethic leads to some personal records for Riverhawk Tracksters as they competed on Friday in Canby. The attitude was apparently contagious as the most memorable entries were from the athletes who were just plain willing to try. And try hard.

Varsity baseball plays host to Forest Grove Tuesday, March 29, at Bob Williams Field at the Q, first pitch is slated for 5 p.m. We’d also like to welcome our new volunteers to the Riverhawks’ baseball family, as Ray Bustos is serving as our PA announcer, and TDHS Ski Coach Dane Klindt will be running scoreboard.
TDHS Boys Basketball Makes 5A Playoffs for the first time since 2018/2019 Season
The Dalles boys basketball team will be playing in the first round of the playoffs this Friday, March 4th at 6 p.m. in Eugene against 2nd seed Churchill Lancers. The last time the Hawks played in the playoffs, they lost in the first round to the first seed Lancers.
TDHS Boys Basketball Team Crushes Ridegeview on Senior Night; Pendleton Tonight
The Dalles boys basketball team played in their final home game of the season against the Ridgeview Ravens this past Tuesday in what was a dominant win. On a huge night for seniors of the team and the team in general, the Hawks came out playing some fantastic basketball, winning the game with a score of 58-40.
TDHS Boys Basketball Team Wins in a Thriller against Gorge Rival Hood River
The Dalles boys basketball team won a thriller on Thursday, Feb. 3 against Gorge rivals Hood River Valley, in its third league game of the season. It was a hard-fought game for both teams with an electric crowd and the Hawks coming out on top 65-62 in the final seconds.

Shorthanded TDHS Boys Basketball Dominates Estacada
The Dalles Boys Basketball team played against Estacada in a nonleague away game on Monday, Jan 10th and dominated the Rangers. Even without three of their players, the Hawks still won 69-51.

TDHS Basketball Loses a Close Road Game Against 6A Century
The Dalles high school boys basketball team played in a non-league away game Tuesday, Dec 28th against 6A Century Jaguars in what was a close game. The Hawks battled all game but would eventually lose 60-52.
TDHS Boys Basketball Impresses in Woodburn Tournament
This past week, starting Dec 16th to Dec 18th, The Dalles high school boys basketball team played some tough basketball at a tournament in Woodburn and has some real success. The Hawks made it to the semi-finals before falling to Woodburn in a close game.
