A small .1 acre fire was reported at the at the bottom of Burdoin Mountain near Courtney Rd on Hwy 14, MP 68 which is 2 miles east of Bingen. The fire is now contained and is on mop up
After nearly two weeks of relentless effort by firefighters, the Boulder Fire, is 100% contained. The cause of the fire is still under investigation and at this time it appears that the fire burned an estimated 233 acres .
Lyle, WA July 17, 2023– A Burlington Northern Santa Fe Train (BNSF) train experienced a fire in the generator compartment at the Lyle Cherry Orchard trailhead near Lyle, WA at around 6:40 p.m. on July 17.
A wildfire, known as the Bear Creek Fire (PCC-167), broke out on the afternoon of July 16th, 2023, in Skamania County, Washington, North of Carson. The fire started at approximately 3:33 p.m. and quickly spread in the heavily forested area near Wind River Highway and Bear Creek Road. Officials estimate the fire's size to be around 5 acres, as reported by Air Attack.
The fire is currently 46% contained and crews are almost finished opening the 4860 Road for better access to the ridge that lies beyond the east side of the fire.
The Dalles, OR, July 13, 2023— Sherman County Sheriff’s office posted on their facebook that Deschutes State Park is at a level 3 (Go Now) evacuation. More information will be shared as soon as possible.
Goldendale, WA, July 13, 2023 - A rapidly spreading wildfire was reported at 3:15 p.m. today on Knight Road near Goldendale, prompting immediate evacuation orders and a swift response from firefighting agencies. The fire is estimated to be at 100 acres at this time.

UPDATED July 10, 2023 at 9 p.m. A 3,500 acre fire is burning in wheat fields near Cottonwood Canyon State Park. The fire began at approximately 10:35 a.m. on July 10th, 2023 and was reported to be in the are of Ajax Lane and highway 206 west of Condon, OR.
