Global temperature increases won’t spare the Gorge said Dr. Oriana Chegwidden, a hydrologist and research scientist during an environmental conference at The Discovery Center in The Dalles in late May. “Our data shows that the Pacific Northwest will get warmer, likely a 5-10 degree increase, and wetter,” she said. “By 2080, snow accumulation will be gone.”

Whether you’re looking for blues guitar performed by Kevin Selfe at Bargeway Pub, a storytelling Father's Day comedy show performed by Jon Bennett at Bingen theater, Pride month trivia, a car show, or an extraterrestrial birthday party bash there is plenty of entertainment to choose from this month.

The Bargeway Pub is priming the pump as they bring Texas Trio Powell Brothers to the stage on Saturday. Jim Drake also jumps into music fest previews in Mosier, Trout Lake, and Arlington while also dishing on the lineups for all the local venues Gorge-wide. Check it all out here.

Eli Howard returns to The Dalles tonight, May 31 at the Bargeway Pub, kicking off a week of fun and entertainment, including Blitzen Trapper at The Ruins on Sunday, June 4. Jim Drake also gives us the rundown on Gorge Blues and Brews Fest in Stevenson starting June 24.

Bargeway Pub kicks it off with a Little Music City Showcase of three singer-songwriters on Wednesday, May 24 as venues up and down the Gorge are staging some great talent. Pick a show and go.

This event will be a live version of the late-night radio show. Noory’s guests will include Travis Walton, who has the distinction of having witnesses to his alleged alien abduction in 1975. Matt Moneymaker was on the Animal Planet Channel for 10 years, and has been involved in the “Search for Bigfoot,” show, and is considered the number one person for Bigfoot lore and information.

Hit Machine Acoustic Duo is on tap at the Bargeway Pub tonight, May 17 starting at 6 p.m., and then pick any venue you want - there is a lot going on. Drum Circles, Comedians, Film even the bouzouki duo Murray and Magill at Herbring House in TD on Sunday, May 21. Check-in, pick and win. Oh, bouzouki? Right. It’s a stringed Greek instrument in the lute family. But not the Lutefisk family! Never. I wouldn’t lye.

Jim Drake recently met up with Newgrass Experts Molly in the Mineshaft to talk with the band about their music and upcoming show at The Dalles Civic Auditorium tonight, May 12 at 6 p.m.

“Award Winning Artist Trent Beaver is known as one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier singer-songwriters and he is playing the Bargeway Pub in TD tonight, May 12 starting at 7:00 p.m. It’s just one of many jams to happen this weekend as temps tip into the 90s calling for cutoffs, tanktops and margaritas. Eric Leadbetter performs at Bargeway Pub tonight, April 19. The show starts at 6 p.m. His music is very unique and original, with ghostly echoes of the golden ages of rock. Eric is kicking off a huge week of entertainment as music, comedy art, and all forms of entertainment are spread far and wide this week in the Gorge.

The Bargeway Pub welcomes "Martino" Gerschwitz on Wednesday, April 12. Martin has toured with such bands as "Eric Burdon and the Animals" and "Iron Butterfly". April Power brings musical flowers this week as the Bargeway Pub kicks it off with a show tonight, April 5 at 6 p.m. with Sarah Lodge & Dan Polidori playing an eclectic acoustic blend of top R&B, soul, pop and blues music.
