Yakama Nation Announces Tract D Recreational Area Opening Dates

A steep but beautiful trail leads to a gorgeous waterfall on Tract D.

Yakama Nation Tribal Forestry has announced that Tract D Recreational Area will be open from August 30th to October 1st from 7:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. No camping allowed in the Tract D Recreational Area this year but visitors can still enjoy numerous hiking, swimming, and fishing opportunities in the area during operating hours.

There will be a $20 day use fee per vehicle and a $10 fishing fee per person, per day.

Gorgeous lakes and Mt Views can be seen from Tract D.

Entry, Camping and Fishing Permits will be self-issued with envelopes and placed into drop boxes Entry permits and the drop box is located at Mirror Lake, and camping permits are located at Mirror, Bird and Bench lakes and the parking lot / Trail 9 intersection.
