The North Wasco County Education Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Kelsey Alsheimer as its new Administrative Director. Alsheimer brings over a decade of experience in grant and proposal writing, non-profit management, and a passion for community-driven education initiatives.

This year the Foundation received 50 nominations from fellow educators, supervisors, parents, and others in the community. Not only are the staff and volunteers recognized for their efforts, the winners also receive a $500 cash award. Four winners are chosen each year from a very qualified pool of nominees. Throughout April and May, staff has planned a variety of virtual events with the goal of sharing the proposed revisions and providing opportunities for public input. This includes virtual open houses, Ask the Planner events, Planning Commission work sessions, and presentations.
