MCCAC Launches Purposity to Meet Client Needs
“Purposity comes from the core belief that humanity finds purpose through generosity.” — Purposity spokesperson.

The Mid-Columbia Community Action Council (MCCAC) has launched a new app and web based platform on Purposity that allows users to meet the specific needs of houseless and in-need clients in the community. The app, which is available for iPhone users, allows users to easily view and fulfill the needs of MCCAC clients by purchasing items or making monetary donations.
"The cool thing is that Purposity allows people to personally meet the needs of clients," said Sarah Kellems, Development and Engagement Coordinator at MCCAC. "It's a way to connect with and personalize the giving experience, and to help people recognize that those in need are members of our community."
"Using Purposity is so easy," said Kellems. "Once you download the app or go to the website and follow our organization, you can click on a need and fulfill it. It's a great way to make a real difference in someone's life."
Once someone selects a need to meet, the person in need’s order is fulfilled and shipped to MCCAC for distribution to their clients. The goal of the app is to provide a simple and convenient way for people to give back to their community, and to help those in need during the holiday season and beyond.
Download the app in the Apple or Google play store or visit the Purposity website here to start fulfilling needs in your community today.
