Hand deliver those election ballots; just 7 days left to vote
Jazzi Hill of The Dalles dropped off her ballot this morning at the Wasco County Courthouse. Ballots must be dropped off to ensure they will be received in time for the general election, which ends at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Election ballots in Wasco County should be hand-delivered to dropboxes. The last day to mail them was Tuesday, Oct. 27, according to the Wasco County Election website.
Wasco County ballot drop box locations are listed below. Ballots must be received no later than 8 pm on election day, but can be placed in ANY Oregon county dropbox. A listing of all ballot drop sites in Oregon is available on the Secretary of State's DropBox Locator page.
Here are the latest results for Wasco County ballot returns for the Nov. 3 general election, according to Wasco County Clerk Lisa Gambee. She said 9,160 ballots have returned or 50.3 percent.
