Tea Party Draws Young Royalty to TD Public Library

The Dalles, Ore., Jan. 8, 2025 — The Dalles Public Library transformed into a royal palace on Friday, Jan. 3, as children dressed as princes and princesses attended a lively tea party fit for nobility.

The event was packed with young attendees in costume, many of whom began their regal experience at a craft table where they created jeweled crowns and tiaras. Using an array of stickers, the children adorned their headpieces, preparing for their grand entrance into the tea party.

Once properly attired, the children joined the tea party, which featured an assortment of treats and desserts. The library staff, dressed as princesses, hosted the festivities and brought the royal theme to life.

The celebration concluded with dancing and photo opportunities with the princesses, leaving families with lasting memories of the enchanting event.
