TD Honarable Mention: Catching people doing good things

The Dalles High School’s National Honor Society visited St. Peter’s Landmark on Tuesday to help volunteer Alan Eagy with some weed pulling around The Dalles’ most Iconic building.

Junior Emily Adams, right, senior Monica Rojas, center and junior Rose Miller seemed to be happy in their gloves and sunshine. They were with other members of their group and Advisor and History Teacher Colby Tonn.

Rojas said she enjoyed working in the flower patch.

“Yeah, my grandma has crops,” she said laughing. “Corn, tomatoes, peppers, watermelon, pumpkins… “ And the list kept going. Nice work!
