Despite strong objections from victims and the DA, a judge granted Tyson Trezona, accused in repeated thefts, release to rehab, calling it harder than jail and warning failure means prison.

A man from The Dalles accused of helping a bipolar woman commit suicide in a pickup just a block from The Dalles High School was convicted on Criminally Negligent Homicide on Monday, May 12. 

A local man who entered Center Market and stuck a gun to a woman’s face and then turned it on her husband and shot him twice has pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter.
