TDHS Basketball receives third violation from OSAA; Fines on the year total $1,200
The violation was the third for the program this school year as OSAA has levied a total of $1,200 in fines, forced a two-game suspension of Head Coach Brian Stevens, and forced the team to forfeit 12 games due to ineligible players during the past 6 months.

Undefeated TDHS Cheerleading team headed to State Championship Today
TDHS cheer has gone on to win first place in four out of four of their winter season competitions, making them undefeated. They are now perfecting their Game Day routine for the OSAA State Championship, which happens today, Feb. 9th.

School Board nixes bond in May; High school still in disrepair; Inflation projected at 3.2 %
Board Member Judy Richardson told a packed crowd at the regular Board Meeting on Thursday, Jan. 25 that another bond attempt was not prudent for such an early date. Future high school build costs will continue to rise as inflation continues to push up prices on labor and materials. The consumer price index during the past four years averaged 4.8 percent and is estimated to be 3.2 percent in 2024, according to the Consumer Price Index.

TDHS X Country: Hermiston & Oregon City: Fast, flat, and fierce
A difference in starting position made all the difference for Aiden Erickson in Oregon City on Sept. 16. Normally in the back, the lean 6’3” sophomore toed the line for the varsity boys’ race, in the front quarter of the pack for the entire race. That lead translated into a 26-second PR from last year, with Erickson finishing sub-18 at 17:56.
Winner of '23 Corolla will be picked at TD vs. HR football game on Friday, Sept. 8
This week’s football match-up between The Dalles High School and rivals Hood River Valley at Sid White Field in The Dalles will feature a halftime raffle that will put some lucky person in the driver’s seat of a 2023 Toyota Corolla. Between the gridiron action, the winning ticket for a 2023 Toyota Corolla, which has been generously donated by local dealership Columbia Gorge Toyota, will be drawn.
It's Official; bond for new TDHS will be on November ballot
Notice is hereby given that a ballot title for a measure referred by the NORTH WASCO COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT #21 has been filed with the Elections Office of Wasco County, Oregon on August 7, 2023. The measure will be presented to the qualified voters of the district at the Special Election held on November 7, 2023. The election will be conducted by mail pursuant to ORS 254.465.

Abuzz with potential in the setting sun, both of The Dalles’ relay teams performed well, with the girls’ 4x400 team within two seconds of their state time from last year. For the boys’ Distance medley relay, senior Leo Lemann led with the 1200, followed by smoking personal bests in the 400 for Vincent Ziegenhagen (55) and 800 for Tyson Long (2:05), and anchored by a quick 1600 for Juan Diego Contreras. Collectively, they finished at 11:01 - two seconds faster than the previous TDHS record.
