Steve of Steve’s Towing said he still had some irrigation pipes to blow out with the compressor and he also said he was retired from the towing business, noting he missed his due date by eight years. I bet he does not miss the calls on icy cold nights like were about to have. The National Weather Service is forcasting Rain, possibly mixed with snow and freezing rain tonight.

The shovel was awaiting Araya O’Neal with My Family’s Pet Doctor on Kelly Avenue this morning, Feb. 12. The 27-year-old started her day clearing sidewalks out front of the veterinary clinic run by Dr. Anne Maichel. Shovelers should keep their scoops handy. Forecasters are calling for more snow during the next two days and temperatures in the 20s. CCCNews hopes to head to the sledding hills today - look for more feature photos on our own backyard bombers in days to come.
Winter's work comes fast with storm this morning
Mother Nature powder coated The Dalles this morning, Thursday, Feb. 11. Forecasters apparently pegged this one right with snow expected today and Friday. Accumulations are expected to be between four to 10 inches in the next two days. And temperatures are predicted to drop into the 20s and stay there during the next three days.
PNW Blizzard, Winter Storm Warning in Effect Feb 11th-13th
According to local meteorologists not one but two storms are on their way through the Columbia River Gorge this week. Expect arctic Easterly winds and snow at upper elevations.
