The housing market is on fire nationally. And The Dalles is helping to stoke the flames. Some 296 homes sold during 2020 and the housing market is now close to drying up entirely as listings have dropped to just 24 this month. The lack of supply is pushing prices higher and creating barriers for first-time homebuyers.
