Soroptimist HR blooming to make lives better; Flower basket fundraiser underway

Hey, Columbia Connectors! Soroptimist Hood River’s 5th Annual Flower Basket fundraiser is ready for orders! Choose from a large selection of 12-inch sun baskets for$45, or 10- inch sun or shade baskets for $35 each. Flower baskets will be ready for pickup from April 30-May 2. 

Proceeds provide scholarships and grants to single mothers returning to school. In 2024, Soroptimist Hood River presented $1,500 “Live Your Dream” education awards to two Gorge women with children who have returned to school, making their own dreams of a better life come true. 

Order your baskets between now and April 15 from any Soroptimist member or at soroptimisthoodriver.square.site. Baskets will be ready for pickup between April 30 and May 3 at Vanguard Nursery in White Salmon, at the foot of Dock Grade Rd — an easy way to give huge help.
