Muddy Monday

Muddy Monday

Julio Calderon, 25, of The Dalles and Martin Leon, 45, work at getting the groundwork done for some pathways at Smoke Wring BBQ in The Dalles this morning, Monday, March 21. The pair with Simply Landscaping were preparing the site for walkways. And unfortunately, Spring’s second day did not bring the sunshine. A little rain, rather. But, while the ground goes a bit mushy, there is no doubt the grass is growing and the wildflowers are getting ready to pop in the Gorge.

Forecasters are calling for 71 degrees Fahrenheit on Tuesday, March 22, with partially sunny skies. I wouldn’t break out the water skis just yet, but maybe there is a hike out there with your name on it.
