School’s Out for Winter: SNOW DAY! 5-DAY WEEKEND!

The Dalles, Ore., Feb. 13, 2025 — Local kids and parents took advantage of the sweet pow at Dry Hollow Elementary today as D21 called a snow day on the edge of a four -day weekend.

A no-school day is scheduled for Valentine’s Day - that’s tomorrow, and President’s Day is on Monday.

So, cinco días de nieve (Five Days of Snow) Holiday - we coined that here at CCCNews.com

Above Tim Vergori, 51, and his niece Hadley Legan, 7, share a tobagan ride in celebration of the one-of-a-kind respite this winter.

Tim’s son, Judah, 10, is leading them in front - all of them are getting a nice face wash with the crisp dry snow as they laughed, grinned and bared the bumpy fast ride to coolness!

Were not sure who the biggest kid is in this group. But were putting our money on Tim.
