Renaldo Cruz, owner of Tacos Del Rios at 421 Union St., The Dalles, and friend Ignacio Torres work on the last of the season’s peppers on Friday afternoon. The two harvested Del Diablo peppers and habaneros. There were also some other peppers that are so hot that if you write the name down they catch on fire;) Today is Saturday, Oct. 24th with a 70 percent chance of rain. Watch for the freeze tomorrow morning. Temps are forecast to dip to 22 degrees Fahrenheit. That’ll cool your peppers down.
