Planned Power Outage in Odell and Pine Grove on November 19: Important Notice for Residents

Hood River, OR. November 16, 2023 - "There will be a planned power outage that will affect some members in the Odell and Pine Grove areas beginning around 11:40 a.m. on Sunday, November 19. Some members will have brief interruptions at the beginning and the end of the work, and some will be off for up to 4 hours. The outage is needed so Pacific Power can repair damage on their transmission line that serves our substation in Odell. Affected members will receive a phone call or email from us, if we have current contact information on file."

If you live in Odell or Pine Grove and depend on electrically powered life-sustaining medical equipment or battery-dependent medical devices, notify Hood River Electric & Internet Co-op. Some examples of devices that may be affected by this planned power outage are:

• Breathing machines (respirators, ventilators)

• Power wheelchairs and scooters

• Oxygen, suction or home dialysis equipment

• Temperature-sensitive medications
