Riverhawks JV Football Team Drops Opener to Gladstone

From AD Billy Brost

The Dalles High School JV2 football team traveled to Gladstone yesterday in an old Tri-Valley Conference rivalry game to open their 2021 season. This is great news since we haven’t had a JV football game since 2019. The Hawks played hard on defense, allowing only two total first downs, but Gladstone was simply too much, as The Dalles fell by the final score of 26-0. The Riverhawks varsity football program opens their home conference schedule this Friday at 7 p.m. against IMC opponent, Redmond. Gates open at 5:45 p.m.
