Hood River Comic Con Brings Fun for Everyone

Hood River Library’s First Comic Con event, organized by the Teen Council, Rachel Timmons, Teen Librarian and other library staff brought nearly 70 people out to participate in costume contests, performance, a zine making workshop, a free comic giveaway, button making, game playing, a photo booth and more on May 13th, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Youth and adults of all ages participated in the event, although the event seemed especially popular with teens.
Hood River Hobbies owners, Miko Ruhlen and DC Ruhlen also attended the event, bringing several games, including Magic the Gathering, and The Tea Dragon Society along with them for youth and families to enjoy.
