Riverhawks test their mettle at home in first-round bout with Forest Grove tonight, Sept. 3

Today, Friday, September 3rd, The Dalles Riverhawks will play their first game of the 2021 Fall season. They face the 5A Forest Grove Vikings. The Vikings had a record of 0-6 in their spring-COVID season and 4-5 in the 19-20 football season.
It’s the first game of new head coach Lynn Helyer’s second tenure as head coach. With a small group of players only making up enough for one team, it’ll be interesting to see how the Riverhawks perform with a whole new offensive system.
The game is at 7 PM at Sid White Field on the Wahtonka Campus.
