The holidays are here! Shop from over 25 local artists for handcrafted goods & gifts for your home or for a special someone.
If you're concerned about the weather, then there's nothing to worry about as this event will be held indoors. There will also be a raffle held during the bazaar! Stay tuned for details...

The Dalles Starlight Parade, Community Tree Lighting, and Downtown Country Festival
When: Nov. 26 6PM
Where: Downtown The Dalles
The Starlight Parade will start at 6:00 pm and the Community Tree Lighting will immediately follow the parade. Stop by The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce for cocoa, cookies, coffee, and popcorn as they help The Dalles kick off the Christmas season with some holiday cheer.
Before the parade gets started head down to the Downtown Country Festival. New this year, the festival will take place in the parking lot behind Route 30 Bottles & Brews from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This family fun event will host pictures with Mrs. Claus, games, food, animals, vendors, crafts, and fun.
Hood River County Christmas Project
When: Card distribution events on December 11, 12, 17, and 18. Registration closes on Nov. 27
Hood River County Christmas Project is a local non-profit that has been serving those in need in the county for 99 years.
The Hood River County Christmas Project is providing food cards and gift cards for children to those who meet certain income guidelines (SNAP recipient, WIC, or Oregon Health Plan). Details are on the website, where you can also register.
We Need Volunteers!
Volunteers will help staff our card distribution events on December 11, 12, 17, and 18. Volunteers (must be over 18; kids 13 to 18 are welcome if accompanied by 1 adult per child) will be working outside for a few hours helping direct traffic, greet clients, "run" registration info and then gift cards back and forth between cars and registration tables and more.
Find out what slots are open and consider volunteering! It's a great way to share your care and concern for others during the holiday season.

Cascade Singers Christmas Concert

The program features choral holiday favorites (“with a twist of course” said Director Garry Estep), as well as solo, trio, and quartet performances and ending with a sing-along. Each concert is free and open to the public, and families are encouraged to attend. All donations will remain with the location of that day’s performance to support thier music program.
High Prarie Christmas Bazaar
