Meet the Hunting dog: 'Windy Ridge's Flying Cinnamon Teal'

David Jacobs.JPG

David Jacobs uses a passive leader while training his Golden Retriever, Teal, on Sandlin Road This morning, Monday, Feb. 1. Jacobs said this was his third Golden as he is an avid duck hunter. But one duck has evaded his shotgun - the Cinnamon Teal. So when this Golden was born in May - it received Jacobs special name that will induce that elusive fowl to fly in front of his bead. He named the dog Windy Ridge’s Flying Cinnamon Teal. The puppy’s father’s name was Flying and the puppy came from Windy Ridge - the rest? Well, that’s just forward-thinking on Jacob’s part. You can just call the dog Teal if you like, Jacobs said.
