Ballot return on TDHS bond measure remains strong, outpacing '22 gen. election

Charles Lunsford shows off his ballot this morning, Oct. 24, at the Wasco County Courthouse. There is only one decision to make on this ballot for people living in the North Wasco County School District. To build a new high school or not.

From Chrissy Zaugg, Chief Deputy County Clerk:

At the end of today, Oct. 25th, we have received 2447 ballots back from our 14,659 eligible voters for a 16.69% participation rate.

For comparison, at this time in the 2022 General Election we were at a 9.64% turnout.
