2023 Starlight Parade & Christmas Tree Lighting

The Dalles, OR. November 7, 2023 - The Dalles Starlight Parade and Tree Lighting returns on November 24th to kick off the Holiday season with a burst of Christmas magic. Join us at 6:00 PM on our regular parade route in The Dalles for a dazzling parade featuring festive floats, marching bands, and a visit from Santa Claus. Afterward, head to The Dalles Chamber to witness the Tree Lighting Ceremony, filling the heart of the city with warmth and joy.
This year’s theme for this celebration is “Hollywood Holiday Classics – Memories on Parade”
Enjoy warm hot cocoa, cookies, and fresh popcorn, and the special magic in the air. This cherished community event, brought to you by The Dalles Chamber with the help of countless volunteers, is the perfect way to create lasting holiday memories. You don't want to miss it!
