Mona Nell Wilson passed away on July 28th, 2024 at Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. Mona was born February 23rd, 1945, and was 79 years of age at the time of passing.  

A celebration of life for Mona will be held 1:00 P.M., Thursday, August 8th, 2024 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 1825 May Street, Hood River, Oregon 97031, with a reception to follow. Mona will be laid to rest at White Salmon Cemetery following her services.

Obituary: Carol Ann Berry, 72, Hood River

Carol Ann Berry passed away on January 19, 2024, at home in Hood River, Oregon. Carol was born October 18, 1951. She was 72 years of age at the time of passing.  

Carol was born in Salem, Oregon to Florence Roberts (Vetter) and Elden Lewis Roberts. She was the wife of Jerry Dean Berry and their life together started on June 31, 1993, in Hood River.  Carol was employed in the packing house at Duck Wall Fruit Company Cherry Growers.

Carol loved to spend her leisure time reading, piecing together puzzles, caring for her two birds, socializing and was a living example of her Christian faith.

Carol is survived by; her husband, Jerry Dean Berry of Hood River, Oregon; children, Gwendolyn Louise Berry, Amy Jo Lutie (Berry), Jessica Marie Berry, Melissa Sue Spurlock, Margaret Tina Snyder & Robert Snyder; grandchildren, Sasha Rae DeMoss (Prante) & Jordan DeMoss, Henry Fritz Lutie, Wendell Colt Jim and Jerilynne Jim, Samantha Ann Snyder, Cyrus Joseph, Natasha Maryann Snyder, Silvia Ann Jim; great-grandchildren, Addison Rae Demoss, Alexander Wyett Jim, Aiden Wayne Demoss, Layla Leigh Ford. She was preceded in death by; her parents, Elden Roberts & Florence Roberts; and siblings, Elden Roberts II, Eugene Roberts, and Shirley Hinman.

Jared is survived by his beautiful three daughters: Reghan, Teagen, Taryn, his devoted wife, Adria, best friends and brothers, Anthony and Bryant, and his loving parents, Nonie and Dave.

Jared was a loving family man who was invested in not only the community but also in helping others generously with his time and energy wherever he could.

Death Notice: Lane Warren Jolliffe, 86, Boise and The Dalles

Lane Warren Jolliffe passed away recently in Boise, Idaho. He was 86 years old. After serving honorably in the U.S. Navy for four years, he came to The Dalles to join his parents Warren and Hattie Mae Jolliffe, his sisters Marlys, Karen and Barbara, and his brother Lyman.

He met his wife, JoAnne Osborne in The Dalles, and they were married in September of 1959. Together they had three boys, Stewart, Todd, and Justin.

Obituary: Robert Joe Lundin, 67, Mosier

Robert Joe Lundin

Robert Joe Lundin, 67, of Mosier, OR, passed away peacefully at home.

Robert, also known as Bob or "Heavy" was born in Shelby, MT to Charles and Della Lundin. The family later moved to Libby, MT where he attended school until graduation. He then entered the US ARMY, got married (later divorced), and fathered three children.

Bob enjoyed his family, first and foremost. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering with cars, and numerous arts and crafts.

Bob served in the US Army, active and reserve, receiving an honorable discharge after 15 1/2 years. He was stationed in Ft. Jackson, Ft Bliss, Fort Carson, and Germany. He also worked in the oilfield in Oilmont, MT. Bob later moved to Tacoma, WA, his daughter followed him a year later. Along with working, Bob also attended college and earned his associates in computer programming, Top of his class.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, a nephew Seth, his best friend Wayne Schwenke, and other family and friends.

Bob is survived by his only daughter, Amy Lundin (TJ) Pecore, of SC, two sons, Robbie and Joey, of MT, Three sisters, Debbie (Dave), Diana (Kevin), Danita (Mike) all of WA. Also survived by seven grandkids, Cody, RJ, Jasmine, Brooke, Shantel, Treflis, Makala and spouses. Nine great-grandkids, and numerous special nieces, nephews, and more family and friends.

Services, with military honors, will be held on June 3, 2023, 5:00 pm at American Legion Post #137 in Carson, WA. A future service will also be held in SC.

Please in lieu of flowers, make a donation to your local American Legion.
